 This scholarship is created in loving memory of Lila Dodd and Nancy Esthus. These women both had a passion for reading published materials to enhance their life-long learning. Lila Dodd was a Marysville Middle School (MMS) librarian; her daughter, Nancy Esthus, taught 6th-grade math for thirty-five years at MMS. Both encouraged their students to seek information that would deepen their subject knowledge. Universities recognize the need for subject librarians who can assist with research and reference questions to help manage citations and bibliographies using multiple software available. An urgent quest for information would be a necessity for various career pathways.

 The Foundation has partnered with the United Way to establish another way for people to support the operations of the United Way. The United Way is now able to accept appreciated securities, property, and other assets along with traditional monetary donations.

Veterans Remembrance Fund
 This fund was established in order to develop a permanent veterans monument to be located on the grounds of the county courthouse at 215 W. 5th Street in Marysville and to establish a computer database honoring and identifying all Union County Veterans.

Georgeann Vollrath Memorial Fund
 The fund memorializes a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who had a special place in her heart for children and parochial education. The fund supports scholarships to Trinity Lutheran School for children of financially challenged families

The Roy A. Wallace B.I.F. Memorial Fund
 The fund memorializes Beef Improvement Federation 40-year member Roy Wallace. Mr. Wallace was committed to the advancement of the beef cattle industry. The fund supports beef breeding genetics and scholarships for students to apply to a field of study related to the beef cattle industry.

 This fund was formed in the memory of Dave and Elizabeth Ward by their children. The fund supports scholarships to a graduating Marysville High School Eagle Scout and a Marysville High School student pursuing a major in music.

 The fund memorializes the Yoder family of West Liberty. This Fund annually supports scholarships to members of the West Liberty United Methodist Church. It also supports non-profit, Union & Marion County organizations providing hospice care, hospital services, and extended or skilled medical care.
