This scholarship was established by Todd and Allison Gorton in memory of their son, Blake, who was a junior at Fairbanks High School when he passed away in 2024. The scholarship is awarded to recognize students who exemplify the qualities Blake demonstrated – kindness, enthusiasm, leadership, and community involvement.
