UCF Community Grants Fund

The Union County Foundation’s Quarterly Grant Program is one of the many ways we support meaningful work across our community.  The program focuses on funding initiatives that make a meaningful impact in Union County. By listening closely to local organizations and residents through their applications, the grant program becomes more than just funding. It serves as a vital community service and a feedback loop, helping the Foundation refine its strategies and ensure resources are directed at projects that truly reflect Union County’s priorities.

Overseen by the Program Distribution Committee, a group central to the Foundation since 1993, the program focuses on funding initiatives that make a meaningful impact in Union County.

One of the key strengths of the program is its flexibility. Quarterly Grants are unrestricted, meaning they’re not tied to a specific donor’s intent. This allows the Foundation to support emerging ideas and challenges that might otherwise go unnoticed — a powerful way to stay rooted in the community and responsive to its future.
