This fund was established in order to develop a permanent veterans monument that is now located on the grounds of the Union County Courthouse at 215 W 5th Street in Marysville. The Veterans Remembrance Committee (VRC) oversees the Union County Veterans Plaza, which is a solemn place located at the SW corner of West 5th & Court Streets. The VRC also maintains the Union County Veterans database.
